i shall now give you a quick run-down on parts of the gold coast; according to me :)

h'okay so here we goooo.

palm beach (where i live): "gangster", probably where most of the povos live. even in the newspaper it said that most of the prostitutes found on the GC are right there on the palm beach part of the gold coast highway. yep, it's great. home to the palmy army.

burleigh: very beachy, where most people go i guess for the beach, main part.

miami: pretty much the same as palm beach and robina mixed. apparently the high school is pretty bad, but dunno, i like one of my friends who goes there.

nobby, mermaid and broadbeach: you shall find pacific fair here and it's great, best shopping centre, and putt putt too!! they're quite small parts but better than palm beach, no offense to the palmys.

clear island waters: very developed, got lots of buildings. close to bond uni. this leads into...

varsity lakes: probably the poshest out of all the parts. the school is freaking posh and clean.

robina: robina is almost like palm beach, but i dunno, probably not as bad. haven't been there properly yet so.. yeah.

tallebudgera: they are the inland mountain people haha. furthest from the beach i guess, very green and golfy.

elanora: very sweet, small place, almost like tally but not so mountainy. mostly streets from what i've seen.

currumbin: home to the wildlife sanctuary, with tugun, they're small villagy places with corner shops and stuff.

tugun: look up above, they're connected.

coolangatta: very surfy, all the surfy shops are located there and closest to nsw.

i can't say anything about the other parts cos i haven't been there. i stick very close to home and don't feel like venturing up to ashmore or southport thankyouverymuch :)
